Gra-Gra’s Goulash
Gra-Gra’s Goulash is a household favorite. Not only is it a super easy one pot meal, but it makes for the BEST leftovers. It is a recipe that I am told has been past down for generations. I received it in college when my husband and I were still dating. And like every person before me, I adapted it to become more my own. Feel free to add your own twist too, I’d love to know how it turns out!
This goulash recipe is more of a mix between American goulash and hamburger helper. Both meals I had never tried until I made this recipe- Wow, was I missing out! It is the perfect combo of noodles, meat, gooey cheese, and a hint of tomato. At the time of gra-gra’s goulash recipe being passed down, my hubs and I were on a no red meat kick. Therefore, I subbed it out for turkey meat. To me, this is how Gra-Gra’s goulash is suppose to taste. But if you choose, sub in ground beef instead. Let’s get cooking shall we?

We use 91% turkey meat. But any sort of ground meat will do- it was originally ground beef when the recipe was passed down to me.
